Our Collaborative Approach
Our direct-to-expert service means that you can talk directly to a member of the team that understands the 3D printing process inside out.
We don’t have sales people, just expert consultants who are here to help you bring your designed parts to life.
They will work closely with you to optimise your design for the process, improving the function and saving you money.
Part Orientation
After we have confirmed the details of your design, the 76 Additive team will take your 3D file and position it at the optimum angle, before nesting it, and any copies, into a ‘build’.
The orientation of each part is dependent on the aesthetic and accuracy requirements. Some bureau-style operators use automatic systems for nesting, which can experience issues when too many parts are added.
Because we are a contract manufacturer, primarily dealing with batch orders, we have the time to orientate and check each part manually.
Digital Inventory
Our digital inventory system is ideal for clients who engage us for contract manufacturing, or regularly order the same parts.
Through the portal, you can simply enter the quantity and required delivery day. Your part is then automatically added to the production schedule using the pre-agreed pricing and with all orientation and post processing information.
Turnaround Times
Our printers run through the night and most weekends , Expedited orders may be ready as soon as next day. Our standard lead time is 5-10 working days.
We pride ourselves on being flexible, so if priorities change we’ll do our best to accommodate you.

Quality Control
Our experts provide feedback on your designs, considering heat distribution, surface thickness and radiuses, and a range of other factors to make sure your prints are always of the highest possible standard.
Proper material management is essential for producing parts that are both accurate and consistent. We take regular readings of our powder quality to ensure it stays within the best possible quality band.
Each finished component is visually inspected by one of our operators. Further inspections and checks via drawings or mating parts is also possible. If it doesn’t make the grade, it doesn’t leave our facility.
Almost every build we print contains parts for our sister company, 76 Projects. We know those parts very well, making spotting issues easy. If we do find an issue, every other part in that build is double-checked.
