Digital Light Synthesis (DLS) from Carbon 3D is a resin based 3D printing technology that was developed for producing end use parts. Isotropic mechanical properties and smooth surfaces.
We also run Carbon Design Engine software which enables us to create complex lattices in rigid or elastomeric materials.
Produced in-house at our Print Lab in Cambridgeshire.

Using lattices with the EPU series of elastomeric materials creates components with tunable compression. By changing the materials and altering the cell and strut sizes the components rebound and absorbion properties can be tuned for each application. Application include trainer midsoles, bicycle saddlesand helmet liners.
DESIGN FREEDOM
Free from the constraints of injection moulding or CNC, DLP printing can produce components that would otherwise be physically or financially impossible. You can even customise components within batch runs.
